Summary
The Group Director, Personalization & UX Research will define and lead CHANEL's digital personalization strategy across its luxury retail divisions. This leader will guide experimentation and UX research programs, build connected client journeys, and develop a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Set the long-term personalization vision and roadmap, aligning initiatives with business and client experience priorities.
- Lead complex cross-functional projects and establish governance and best practices for personalization and experimentation.
- Direct the US UX research program and ensure experiments produce actionable insights across digital and omnichannel experiences.
- Lead, mentor, and resource a team while overseeing budgets, vendors, and collaboration with global and regional partners.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in digital personalization, experimentation, or UX research, including success scaling strategies.
- Strong people leadership experience and expertise with personalization and testing platforms and complex technology ecosystems.
- Strategic and technical fluency, with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide system evolution from vision through delivery.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to translate technical concepts and data insights for varied audiences.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
