Summary
The Group Director, Top Client Development for the Southeast is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and elevating Chanel’s top-client engagement across Florida, Texas, and Georgia. Based in Bal Harbour, FL, the role requires significant in-boutique presence and partnership with boutique teams and Client Development Managers to translate market insights into tailored, luxury client strategies. The position aligns local initiatives with the broader US market vision and partners closely with regional teams and the home office.
Responsibilities
- Assess opportunities and risks related to VIC client activity and develop market-specific engagement strategies.
- Advocate for boutique needs across Florida, Texas, and Georgia, ensuring local market characteristics inform programs.
- Spend significant time in-boutique collaborating with Client Development Managers to service and build relationships with Top Clients.
- Align local client development activities with US market strategy and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead cross-market collaboration and execution of client events, experiences, and engagement strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, client development, or related strategic leadership roles.
- Deep familiarity with the Southeast luxury landscape, with established relationships and cultural fluency across Florida, Texas, and Georgia.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functionally, and manage high-impact projects from conception to execution.
- Advanced analytical skills (Excel, PowerPoint) with experience translating KPIs and data into strategic proposals; experience with department store partnerships preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; willingness to travel up to 50% and availability for some evenings and weekends; authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).
