Summary
Regional Group Director responsible for leading the Visual Merchandising community across the Southeast region to ensure on-brand client journeys across boutiques and multi-retailer points of distribution. This role partners with US and Global Visual Merchandising teams, Retail, Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Events to drive creativity, storytelling, and consistency while supporting team development and strategic initiatives. Position requires domestic and some international travel and management of regional budgets and freelancers. Weekend and overnight work is required and the role involves some lifting and onsite installations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the regional Visual Merchandising community and 2-3 direct reports through coaching and development
- Set and administer creative and visual merchandising direction for fashion boutiques and multi-retailer points of distribution
- Plan and coordinate installations for seasonal windows, floor merchandising, product launches, events, openings, and renovations
- Develop and implement visual merchandising collateral such as window and event décor and tools
- Coordinate schedules and work with corporate teams to support boutique projects and renovations
- Manage regional travel entertainment and freelancer budgets
- Train boutique management and VM teams on visual merchandising guidelines and evaluate in-store execution
- Protect brand performance by fostering relationships with Retail and Merchandising partners
- Support international and domestic travel to execute projects as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in visual merchandising with 3+ years in senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Design or equivalent experience
- Strong project management, organizational, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Mac systems preferred
- Knowledge of reading construction plans and technical window production drawings
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and perform weekend and overnight work (30-40 overnights annually)
- Experience managing budgets and freelance resources
- Passion for fashion, creativity, storytelling, and trend awareness
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
