Guesthouse Facilities Associate

Summary

Provide world-class service and maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities at the New York Guesthouse. Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures while delivering a luxury guest experience. Execute preventative maintenance and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and possible night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first class service and a luxury experience to all guests
• Perform daily facility maintenance and uphold facility requirements
• Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
• Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance tasks
• Identify and present opportunities for process improvement
• Manage multiple priorities and projects with strong communication skills
• Work indoor and outdoor in various climates and perform physical tasks

Requirements

• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
• Experience identifying and presenting process improvements
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Preferred experience as furniture medic, painter, HVAC and furnace maintenance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform sustained standing, walking, bending, climbing and stooping
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Proper certifications specific to state laws
