Guesthouse Hospitality Support Associate

Summary

Provide world class service to guests at the Guesthouse Restaurant by preparing and serving beverages and food, maintaining service areas and assisting guests with requests. Support daily setup and breakdown of service areas and ensure common areas and dining spaces remain presentable throughout service. Interact with guests to explain menu items and connect them with additional services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages per menu
• Answer calls and guest requests for in room service and enter orders accurately in the POS
• Run food and beverages to tables, guest rooms and rooftop deck while engaging with guests
• Set up and break down the service area daily
• Explain menu items including ingredients and preparation methods to guests
• Restock product, glassware, china and syrups and maintain beverage storage
• Clean and sanitize the bar and service areas and polish glassware
• Ring in associate meals and assist guests with property questions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in the service industry preferred
• Proper alcohol and food certifications per state law
• Must be of legal age per state law to serve alcohol
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Experience with Micros or a similar POS system
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to work indoor and outdoor in various climates
