Job Description

Summary

As an HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR needs of the first standalone Parfum Christian Dior boutique in Montreal, Quebec. This full-time contract position involves overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes until the store opens, as well as providing ongoing HR support throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead recruitment efforts for vacant positions, from sourcing to offer, with a strong understanding of the current market and competition.
  • Onboard new hires and ensure they are prepared for success before the store opening, including collaboration with payroll/benefits.
  • Advise on Canadian labor laws and ensure organizational compliance, particularly in Quebec.
  • Provide fluent French support and communication throughout recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Support any other HR-related needs for the store opening, such as advising on uniform expectations.
  • Perform all other job-related activities as required.
Requirements
  • Over 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • General knowledge of Canadian labor laws, especially in Quebec.
  • Fluency in French.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and issues with discretion and judgment.
