Summary
The Head Of Data & Analytics Platforms will define, build, and operate enterprise platforms that power analytics, AI, and data products at scale. This leader owns platform strategy, governance, security, resilience, and cost optimization while enabling self-service data consumption across the organization. The role partners with technology and business leaders to accelerate AI adoption and deliver measurable business value through scalable, production-ready data and AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise data and AI platform strategy and roadmap.
- Establish and enforce platform standards for governance, security, observability, and interoperability.
- Own platform lifecycle management including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and optimization.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for cloud, data platform, and AI infrastructure.
- Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud and platform costs.
- Enable self-service data ingestion, transformation, and consumption through automation and tooling.
- Ensure platform readiness for AI/ML workloads, model deployment, feature stores, and LLMOps integration.
- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform performance reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in data platform management, cloud architecture, or enterprise data solutions.
- Proven leadership building and scaling data and AI platforms in a global organization.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), lakehouse architectures, and ML enablement.
- Expertise in data governance, security, compliance frameworks, and data quality/lineage practices.
- Experience with FinOps, cost optimization strategies, and platform observability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to translate strategy into execution.
