Summary
The Head of Enterprise Architecture leads technology architecture strategy and governance for CHANEL’s US business, aligning regional needs with global standards. This role shapes scalable platforms, data architecture, integrations, and responsible AI capabilities to support the product lifecycle and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern enterprise architecture principles, operating models, standards, and decision processes.
- Lead architecture for applications, data, cloud, integration, security, and AI/ML platforms.
- Direct application portfolio management, modernization, technical debt reduction, and legacy decommissioning.
- Establish and lead an architecture Center of Excellence, fostering collaboration across teams and regions.
- Align technology roadmaps, investments, and delivery standards with business outcomes and global priorities.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of leadership experience in technology, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and tools such as SAP LeanIX or ServiceNow APM/CMDB.
- Experience across application, data, cloud, integration, DevOps, analytics, and AI/ML architecture.
- Strong leadership, executive communication, stakeholder management, and vendor partnership skills.
- Ability to connect retail business needs, including product lifecycle and store operations, with technology strategy.
- Based on-site in New York City with a three-day in-office requirement; some travel may be required.
