Job Description

Summary

As the Head of E-Business and Digital Communications for Fragrance and Beauty at Chanel, you will oversee and manage all aspects of online business activities and digital communications. You will lead the E-Commerce and Digital activations for E-Retail, working collaboratively with various departments to execute digital strategies and manage the E-business team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop growth strategies and support the team to manage daily operations that drive online sales.
  • Track sales performance and key metrics to improve performance and enhance customer experience.
  • Evaluate promotional campaigns and make changes to maximize effectiveness.
  • Work closely with marketing, CRM, supply chain, and customer support for seamless integration.
  • Develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention through Digital Marketing channels.
  • Lead Paid Search strategy and oversee Organic search channel focusing on SEO projects.
  • Produce key presentations for Stakeholder meetings, sharing insights and strategy for performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in eCommerce.
  • Lead digital strategy and implementation for e-retail digital projects in Canada.
  • Manage conversations with senior external stakeholders at retail partner level.
  • Contribute to the management of CHANEL e-boutique across all retailer sites.
  • Assist the team in planning and development of digital assets for retailer websites.
  • Develop and lead Client Care vision to deliver luxury client experience.
  • Oversee service delivery of the Client Care team and assess systems functionality.
  • Create and maintain training programmes for the Client Care team.
Requirements
  • 8+ years’ experience leading E-Commerce teams in business roles.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Experience working with Business and IT Stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Established people management skills and experience in developing teams.
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to influence.
  • Proficiency in customer data analysis and business intelligence tools.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong understanding of day-to-day operations.
  • Deep understanding of Digital and Luxury online environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Bilingualism in French and English required.
