Summary
Head of WFJ Marketing based in the New York home office responsible for leading Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Visual Merchandising for Watches & Fine Jewelry in the U.S. The role defines and executes marketing strategy to elevate brand equity, drive product storytelling and launches, and ensure best-in-class in-boutique expression. This senior leadership role partners cross-functionally with communications, retail, digital, PR, events, and global WFJ teams and manages a high-performing marketing and VM organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall U.S. marketing strategy for Watches & Fine Jewelry across brand, product, and visual merchandising.
- Develop product storytelling and launch strategies for key collections and platforms.
- Lead visual merchandising strategy and ensure boutique execution aligns with global guidelines while adapting to local priorities.
- Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives with communications, media, retail, digital, events, and global teams to maximize product visibility.
- Translate market insights and competitive analysis into actionable product marketing plans.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing and Visual Merchandising team, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.
- Own budget and P&L planning for the category in the U.S.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of deep branding experience and overall 15+ years of experience, preferably in luxury.
- Demonstrated expertise in 360° marketing orchestration, product marketing, and visual merchandising for luxury watches and fine jewelry.
- Proven experience leading teams and leaders of teams, with strong people leadership skills.
- Experience with P&L management, budget ownership, and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into strategic presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Office-based in New York with a minimum three days per week in-person and ability to travel internationally and domestically ~15%–20%.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; French language skills preferred.
