Job Description

Summary

The Help Desk Analyst provides first-tier technical assistance and support to users with IT-related issues. This onsite role is based primarily in Marina del Rey, with occasional travel to other Los Angeles area locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, timely computer and software support onsite and by telephone, including follow-up and issue tracking.
  • Set up and maintain PCs, install operating systems and software, and troubleshoot network connections.
  • Administer PC applications and maintain hardware, software, and warranty inventories.
  • Document IT support processes and provide weekly status reports on open and resolved issues.
  • Handle endpoint and networking equipment changes, cabling, and occasional equipment transportation between offices.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in an IT or call center department, or a combination of both.
  • Knowledge of networked PCs, Windows 10, Mac OS X, LAN support, Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supporting iPad and iPhone devices in corporate environments and providing remote access support.
  • Strong communication, listening, follow-up, and organizational skills.
  • A bachelor's degree, technical school certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience. CompTIA A+ or MCP certification is preferred but not required.
