High Jewelry Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Summary

The High Jewelry Strategic Sourcing Analyst supports the Strategic Sourcing team by negotiating and managing product costs, sourcing and onboarding high jewelry suppliers, and maintaining supplier relationships to meet capacity and margin requirements. The role provides analysis for supplier selection, cost savings, and risk monitoring while collaborating with cross functional partners on compliance and project management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support Make vs Buy supplier selection based on supplier capabilities and performance history
• Negotiate and manage product costs through development and lifecycle for domestic suppliers
• Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate quality payment development and logistics issues
• Maintain supplier capability matrix and knowledge of supplier base
• Issue RFIs RFPs and support onboarding of new suppliers
• Conduct savings and cost avoidance analysis to meet annual savings goals
• Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and one pagers and analyze business spend

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in category management or strategic sourcing initiatives
• Advanced MS Office skills specifically Excel and Access
• Strong organizational verbal communication writing and negotiation skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills with a strong work ethic
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project management experience
• Preferred 1-2 years relevant experience and relevant professional certifications
