Home Delivery Lead

Summary

The Home Delivery Lead coaches and mentors warehouse and delivery associates to ensure operational excellence and an elevated customer experience. This role oversees daily inbound and outbound workload, enforces safety and housekeeping standards, and supports inventory control and departmental goal achievement. The Lead supports training, performance management, and continuous improvement within the delivery operation.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse.
• Allocate labor and plan daily inbound and outbound workloads for the operation.
• Complete required records and reports accurately and on time.
• Set and drive department and associate-specific goals for productivity, quality, and development.
• Assume responsibility for inventory control through cycle counts and participate in achieving daily goals.
• Train, coach, and inspire associates to meet performance expectations and operational standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and strong attention to detail.
• RF scanning experience preferred and ability to learn and train on new technology.
• Excellent communication skills with experience training and coaching associates.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment and safely lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
