Summary
Experienced Maître d' to lead the front of house for a luxury dining destination, delivering discreet, polished hospitality to VIC clientele, celebrities, and tastemakers. This full time role requires expertise in luxury service, reservations management, and collaboration with culinary and beverage teams to create an immersive dining experience. The Hospitality Manager will represent the restaurant brand with elegance and maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary ambassador of the guest experience from arrival to departure
- Greet and seat guests with poise and efficiency ensuring flawless impressions
- Manage reservations and optimize table assignments using advanced booking systems
- Build and maintain personalized relationships with VIC clientele and returning guests
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless service and storytelling
- Lead and inspire the front of house team to uphold service standards and attire
- Assist with front of house dining service and restaurant related reporting when needed
- Resolve guest concerns discreetly and maintain composure under pressure
- Plan for elevated service needs around special events and high profile visits
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Maître d' or senior front of house leader in Michelin starred or luxury fine dining
- Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and elite Los Angeles clientele
- Polished, fashion forward appearance aligned with the brand
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in reservation platforms and CRM tools
- Fluency in French is a plus and multilingual abilities preferred
- Open availability including evenings weekends and holidays
