Job Description

Summary

As a Human Resources Director at Louis Vuitton's California workshop in San Dimas, you will provide strategic and hands-on support across all facets of HR. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee HR management, ensure compliance with employment laws, and champion a people-first culture.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead the HR department across two workshops, including recruitment, training, and team development.
  • Administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure legal adherence.
  • Champion workplace culture and execute HR initiatives to support workforce satisfaction.
  • Develop HR financial strategies and collaborate with international counterparts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of dynamic HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution industries.
  • Professional HR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required; French language skills a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and manage change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
