Job Description

Summary

The Human Resources Director will partner with regional and retail leadership to shape HR strategy across the Pacific Northwest, driving talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and employee relations. This role requires strategic and tactical HR leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment while supporting regional HR objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional and retail management to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition for retail and regional office management roles and ensure an inclusive candidate experience.
  • Coach and develop managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and team development.
  • Manage performance review and organizational management review processes to support succession planning.
  • Oversee complex employee relations investigations and ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Partner with Compensation and Benefits to administer compensation reviews and benefits consistently.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with talent development and training teams to implement programs.
  • Drive culture of engagement, high performance, productivity, and retention.
  • Collaborate on regional communications and HR program rollouts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience in a transferable industry.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition, management, development, and succession planning.
  • Experience with employee and labor relations laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience administering performance review and organizational management processes.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to local stores within the Pacific Northwest.
