Summary
Lead development and execution of data strategy for integrated business planning (IBP), providing architectural guidance, technical enablement, and a strategic roadmap to support demand forecasting, data governance, and analytics. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to design a scalable data ecosystem that integrates internal and external sources and promotes data driven decision making. Mentor and grow a team of data professionals while aligning data initiatives with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a data strategy aligned to IBP business goals and priorities.
- Design and implement scalable data architectures including data warehouses and data lakes.
- Integrate diverse data sources and implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure data availability and quality.
- Implement data governance frameworks and partner with data quality and security teams.
- Build and integrate demand forecasting platforms using AI and ML technologies.
- Evaluate and select data technologies, tools, and platforms to support the roadmap.
- Promote data literacy and provide training and resources across the organization.
- Define and track KPIs to measure effectiveness of data initiatives and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals and foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years experience in related roles or Master's degree and 6 years experience.
- Minimum 6 years working with big data, data warehousing, analytics, and data science technologies.
- Experience with data lakes and machine learning and optimizing ML models with data science teams.
- Experience with augmented AI ML platforms such as Dataiku or DataRobot and integrated ML solutions.
- Knowledge of data management principles and architectures including Amazon Redshift and S3 and ETL/ELT tools like AWS Glue.
- Experience with visualization tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlikview, or PowerBI.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security standards for production pipelines.
- Experience working in agile methodologies and applying DevOps or DataOps principles.
- Ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross functional teams.
