SummaryAs an Import Export Coordinator at Watchfinder & Co. in Fort Worth, TX, you will play a crucial role in managing the import and export flows of watches within the US market. You will work closely with global boutiques and distribution centers to ensure compliance with US Customs and support various logistics tasks to meet business needs.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with US Customs criteria for product movement in and out of the Hub.
- Maintain transit and compliance with US Customs and Border Protection for all imports and exports.
- Assist in creating, publishing, and maintaining customs manuals in line with Richemont policies.
- Liaise with US brokers to provide relevant clearance instructions.
- Perform regular internal audits for compliance with US Customs and Border Protection.
- Coordinate with international logistics teams for Customs/Trade compliance in the supply chain.
- Work closely with Richemont North America to ensure US Customs compliance in the domestic market.
- Track all shipments to and from US locations and resolve shipping delays or errors.
- Assist with inventory control processes and parts procurement/management.
- Assist with unpacking/packing of parcels as needed.
Requirements- Able to follow processes and procedures with excellent organizational skills.
- Methodical approach to work and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Effective communication skills over the phone, via email, and face-to-face.
- Familiarity with Partner Government Agencies and US Customs clearances.
- Proficiency in English; French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Minimum three years of professional experience with brokerage, Impex operations, customs clerk, attorney, or trade compliance offices.
- Customs broker's license is a plus.
- May require some travel to review other Watchfinder hubs/operations.
