In-Home Furniture Repair Technician

Summary

Perform in-home repairs on furniture and accessories to ensure products meet quality standards while providing first-class client-facing service within an assigned geographic territory. Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Travel to customers homes, RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers as required to complete repairs and deliver quality assurance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Repair furniture to first quality standards in customers homes
• Perform touch up repairs on wood, leather and fabric
• Apply coatings and finishes to surfaces including metal stone marble and concrete
• Conduct repairs at RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers when needed
• Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area
• Promote and adhere to a safe working environment
• Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements

Requirements

• Sense of teamwork ownership urgency and attention to detail
• Knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods
• Outstanding communication and problem solving skills for customer service
• Ability to visit clients in an assigned geographic territory
• Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
• Must pass background check drug screen and motor vehicle record check
• Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
