In-Home Furniture Repair Technician

Summary

Repair furniture and accessories in customers homes and RH facilities to meet quality standards while providing first-class client service. This client-facing role requires visiting clients within an assigned territory and communicating effectively to build relationships and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home repairs to restore furniture to first quality standards
• Repair items at RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers as needed
• Conduct touch up repairs on wood leather and fabric
• Apply coatings and finishes to surfaces including metal stone marble and concrete
• Assess framing and furniture construction methods to determine repair approach
• Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area
• Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
• Promote a safe working environment and exhibit adaptability to changing job requirements

Requirements

• Sense of teamwork ownership urgency and attention to detail
• Ability to perform touch up repairs on wood leather and fabric
• Knowledge of coatings finishes and furniture construction methods
• Outstanding communication and problem solving skills for customer service
• Ability to visit clients within an assigned geographic territory
• Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
• Must pass a background check drug screen and motor vehicle record check
• Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
