Summary
Repair furniture and accessories in customers homes and RH facilities to meet quality standards while providing first-class client service. This client-facing role requires visiting clients within an assigned territory and communicating effectively to build relationships and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-home repairs to restore furniture to first quality standards
- Repair items at RH Galleries and Home Delivery Centers as needed
- Conduct touch up repairs on wood leather and fabric
- Apply coatings and finishes to surfaces including metal stone marble and concrete
- Assess framing and furniture construction methods to determine repair approach
- Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area
- Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
- Promote a safe working environment and exhibit adaptability to changing job requirements
Requirements
- Sense of teamwork ownership urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to perform touch up repairs on wood leather and fabric
- Knowledge of coatings finishes and furniture construction methods
- Outstanding communication and problem solving skills for customer service
- Ability to visit clients within an assigned geographic territory
- Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
- Must pass a background check drug screen and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
