Repair furniture and accessories in clients homes and company facilities to meet quality standards while providing first-class customer service within an assigned territory. Responsibilities
- Repair furniture to first quality standards in customers homes, galleries, and home delivery centers
- Travel to client homes within an assigned geographic territory for onsite repairs
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Promote and adhere to a safe working environment
- Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements
- Deliver first-class customer service through strong communication and problem solving
Requirements
- Ability to do touch up repairs on wood, leather, and fabric and work with coatings and finishes on metal, stone, marble, and concrete
- Knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods
- Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Ability to visit clients in assigned geographic territory and perform client facing duties
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
