Summary
Perform in-home and on-site furniture repairs to restore products to first quality standards while delivering excellent customer service within an assigned territory. Visit clients in their homes and at company locations to complete touch up repairs and quality assurance tasks. Maintain a clean and safe work area and provide feedback on repair and quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Repair furniture in customers' homes, Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers to meet quality standards
- Perform touch up repairs on wood, leather, fabric, coatings, and finishes
- Work with various surfaces including metal, stone, marble, and concrete
- Apply knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods in repairs
- Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Promote and follow safe working practices
- Communicate effectively with clients and build strong customer relationships
Requirements
- Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform touch up repairs on wood, leather, and fabric and finish work on multiple surfaces
- Outstanding communication and problem solving skills for client facing work
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing job requirements
- Ability to visit clients within an assigned geographic territory
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
