Job Description

Summary

As an In-Home Furniture Repair Technician you will repair furniture and accessories in clients' homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers to ensure products meet quality standards. This client-facing role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills and work within an assigned geographic territory. You will also provide quality assurance feedback and maintain a safe, orderly work area.

Responsibilities

  • Repair furniture to first-quality standards in customers' homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers
  • Perform touch-up repairs on wood, leather, fabric, coatings, and finishes on surfaces such as metal, stone, marble, and concrete
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and promote a safe working environment
  • Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements and client needs

Requirements

  • Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods and the ability to perform touch-up repairs on various materials
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills to deliver first-class customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and visit clients within an assigned geographic territory
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR; ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs.
