In-Home Furniture Repair Technician

Summary

Repair furniture and accessories in clients' homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers to meet quality standards. This client-facing role requires excellent communication, relationship-building, and flexibility while working within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Repair furniture to first-quality standards in customers' homes, galleries, and delivery centers.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients and adapt to changing job requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to perform touch-up repairs on wood, leather, and fabric, and work with coatings and finishes on metal, stone, marble, and concrete.
• Knowledge of furniture framing and construction methods.
• Strong teamwork, ownership, urgency, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to clients within the assigned territory and lift and mobilize items weighing at least 75 pounds.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
