Inside Upholstery Trainee

As an Inside Upholstery Trainee at RH Manufacturing in Hickory, NC, you will learn the art of upholstering fabric and leather pieces, working closely with experienced professionals to meet quality and product specifications. • Transport frames to work station and place on work table, lift, or bucks.
• Apply appropriate padding or other materials to the frame using staple gun, glue, or other methods.
• Apply fabric or leather to the frame to meet quality and product design specifications.
• Use hand tools such as staple gun, mallets, hammers, staple pullers, and other tools.
• Perform other duties as required for RHM to be successful, including outside of regular work area.

• No prior experience required in a similar role.
• Ability to read and understand production tickets.
• Adequate communication skills to interact with all other RHM team members.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or grip up to 100 lbs.
