Summary

The Interim Assistant Manager for Lingerie supports the department manager in driving sales, coaching the team, maintaining merchandising standards and ensuring accurate inventory control while delivering exceptional customer service in a mall store setting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop department sales team
• Assist the department manager in achieving volume and productivity goals
• Coach salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service and sell on the floor
• Develop and execute a business plan for the department
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Support accurate inventory management and shrinkage goals
• Build long lasting customer relationships and loyalty

Requirements

• Track record of successful sales results and productivity
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a commission based environment
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Experience collaborating with department and store managers and merchandisers
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
