Job Description

Summary

The Interim Assistant Manager for Specialty Coffee leads and develops a team while completing a Manager in Training program. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining operational standards, and supporting unit productivity and cost controls.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive Manager in Training program covering unit operations
  • Hire train and manage a crew to deliver consistent customer service
  • Support unit success by maintaining customer satisfaction and operational compliance
  • Oversee productivity and cost management to meet performance goals
  • Coach team members and provide ongoing feedback and development
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and local regulations including food handler requirements

Requirements

  • 2+ years full service upscale restaurant management experience
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic accounting skills and ability to manage costs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied shifts
  • Career ambition in the food and beverage industry
  • Food handler's card where required by local and state regulations
