Interim Assistant Manager - West County

As an Interim Assistant Manager at West County, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in the Men's Apparel and Furnishings department. You will support the department manager in achieving sales goals and maintaining high standards of customer service.

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate your team to achieve success.
• Assist the department manager in developing and executing a business plan to meet department volume and productivity goals.
• Ensure salespeople deliver outstanding customer service through teaching, coaching, and leading by example.
• Collaborate with the department manager to meet merchandising and presentation standards.
• Actively sell on the floor to build long-lasting relationships and create a loyal customer following.
• Assist in accurate inventory management and achieving shrinkage goals.

• Proven track record of successful results, such as strong productivity and personal trade.
• Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment.
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Experience in developing and maintaining productive relationships with department and store managers, divisional retail merchandiser, and other leaders.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
