Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences within the Nordstrom Beauty department by conducting makeup applications and skincare analyses, engaging customers in-store and digitally, and driving sales for luxury and on-trend beauty brands. Maintain a welcoming and organized department while booking appointments and supporting beauty events and services.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare consultations tailored to customer goals
• Recommend products and drive sales for in-store and digital channels
• Book appointments and support beauty events and services
• Use text and social media tools to engage customers and build a following
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness to remain customer-ready
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge via trainings
• Open new customer accounts to build loyalty

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Strong customer service and ability to connect with diverse customers
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in using networking and technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, including bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
