Interim Warehouse Operations Coordinator - Northern Cal Distribution Center

Summary

The Interim Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports flow and optimization within a fulfillment and distribution center, assisting Operations Managers with shift readiness, productivity monitoring, safety, and process improvements. The role creates daily assignments, communicates results, and supports start- and end-of-shift duties to maintain operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Support department goals for safety, quality, and performance while driving efficiency and flow
• Create daily assignments, reassign team members, and manage expediting and business priorities
• Monitor productivity and metrics, communicate hourly goals and progress to operations managers
• Lead start-of-shift meetings, update communication boards, complete end-of-shift duties, and perform safety observations
• Coordinate with safety, facilities, ICQA, and training teams and complete daily trackers for shift handoffs

Requirements

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center
• Well-developed time management, prioritization skills, and a sense of urgency with follow-through
• Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments, processes, and flow
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, Fishbowl, NetSuite)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer-service oriented team-player attitude
