Interim Warehouse Operations Coordinator - Shipping - Northern Cal Distribution Center

Summary

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator supports the flow and optimization of a department within the Northern California distribution center. This role assists the Operations Manager with shift readiness, monitors productivity and metrics, leads safety and operational tasks, and supports process and flow improvements across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support department goals for safety, quality, and performance while driving efficiency and problem resolution
• Create daily assignments and reassign team members to meet priorities and expedites
• Monitor and communicate hourly goals and department results to team members and operations managers
• Conduct safety observations and model safe behavior; lead start and end of shift duties and meetings
• Coordinate with safety, facilities, ICQA, and training to meet operational needs; complete daily trackers for shift handoffs

Requirements

• 1+ years of warehouse experience in a fulfillment or distribution center
• Strong time management, prioritization, and a sense of urgency with follow-through
• Deep understanding of multiple warehouse departments, processes, and flow
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, Fishbowl, NetSuite)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service orientation, and teamwork skills
