Interior Design Assistant - Montecito

Summary

Provide high-end interior design support for RH Interior Design at the Montecito Gallery, assisting across client consultations, design development, presentations and delivery. The role supports a luxury client experience and collaborates with designers to execute cohesive, brand-appropriate spaces. Ideal candidates have design education or experience in high-end furniture or a design firm and a strong interest in luxury interiors.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of the design process including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and project delivery.
• Qualify and educate potential clients on RH Interior Design services and provide elevated client service and product expertise.
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating design concepts, space planning and product selections.
• Represent the RH lifestyle through polished communication, appearance and professionalism and support visual and quality standards within the Gallery.

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred; experience within a design firm or high-end furniture/luxury retail preferred.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google applications; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and space-planning/rendering programs preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills; relationship-driven and results-oriented with strong artistic skills including hand rendering/sketching a plus.
• Licensed to drive preferred, ability to travel locally or out of state, and ability to lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks required for installations and gallery work.
