Interior Design Assistant

Summary

Provide support across all phases of interior design projects for a luxury home furnishings gallery, delivering elevated client experiences and assisting RH Interior Design with presentations, site visits, and installations. The role requires strong design sensibility, client relationship skills, and proficiency with design software and Mac systems.

Responsibilities

• Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery
• Produce brand appropriate presentations communicating design concepts and space planning
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service
• Qualify and educate potential design clientele on services offered
• Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance
• Support visual and quality standards within the gallery
• Assist with hands-on interior installation and mobilization of items up to 25 lbs

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong artistic skills including hand rendering and sketching preferred
• Highly organized, collaborative and results oriented
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and licensed to drive preferred
