Interior Design Assistant

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports RH Interior Design within the Birmingham Gallery, delivering a luxury client experience and assisting across all phases of design projects. This role involves client qualification, producing brand-appropriate presentations, and contributing to design development, site visits and installations. The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and proficient with design software and presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations with space planning and product selections
• Qualify and educate potential design clients on RH services
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service on the gallery floor
• Represent the RH lifestyle through polished communication and professional appearance
• Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture/luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Google Apps; AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong communication, organizational and relationship-building skills
• Hand rendering/sketching and installation experience preferred
• Licensed to drive and ability to travel; ability to lift items up to 25 lbs and perform physical gallery duties
