Interior Design Assistant

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports key phases of luxury residential design projects in collaboration with interior designers. The role provides elevated client service, design-process support, and product expertise while maintaining gallery standards.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and educate prospective clients about interior design services.
• Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
• Create presentations communicating design concepts, space plans, and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service.
• Represent the brand professionally and support visual and quality standards within the gallery.

Requirements

• Education in art, architecture, or interior design preferred.
• Experience with a design firm or in high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred; hands-on installation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MacOS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and space-planning or rendering software preferred.
• Artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching, preferred.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift or mobilize items up to 25 pounds.
