Interior Design Assistant

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports all phases of design projects within the Gallery, working closely with senior designers to deliver a luxury client experience. The role assists with consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery coordination while maintaining high visual and quality standards. Strong design sensibility, client-facing skills, organization, and proficiency with design tools are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury client experience and qualify potential design clientele
• Support consultations, site visits, design development, and presentations
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating space planning and product selections
• Offer product expertise and elevated client service throughout the project lifecycle
• Support installations, deliveries, and on-site coordination as needed
• Maintain visual and quality standards on the Gallery floor and in the stockroom

Requirements

• Art, Architecture, or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Hands-on interior installation experience preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication, highly organized, collaborative, and results-oriented
• Licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and maneuver around Gallery and stockroom
