Summary
The Interior Design Assistant supports key phases of design projects in partnership with RH Interior Design. The role provides a luxury client experience, contributes to design presentations and product selections, and helps uphold the visual and quality standards of the Gallery.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and educate prospective design clients about available services.
- Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
- Create presentations that communicate design concepts, space plans, and product selections.
- Provide product expertise and elevated client service while representing the brand professionally.
- Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery.
Requirements
- Education in art, architecture, or interior design preferred.
- Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred; hands-on interior installation experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other space-planning or rendering programs preferred.
- Artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching, preferred.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state, lift items up to 25 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working on the Gallery floor.
