Summary
The Interior Design Assistant supports key phases of interior design projects in partnership with the RH Interior Design team. This role provides a luxury client experience and helps develop design concepts, space plans, presentations, and product selections.
Responsibilities
- Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
- Qualify and educate prospective clients about design services.
- Prepare presentations that communicate design concepts, space planning, and product selections.
- Provide product expertise and elevated client service while upholding Gallery visual and quality standards.
- Represent the brand with polished communication, appearance, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education in art, architecture, or interior design is preferred.
- Experience with a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail is preferred; hands-on interior installation experience is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building, organizational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications; AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and space-planning or rendering tools are preferred.
- Artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching, are preferred.
- Must be able to travel locally or out of state, maneuver throughout the Gallery, and lift or mobilize items up to 25 pounds.
