Summary
Design Assistants support key phases of interior design projects in partnership with RH Interior Design. The role provides a luxury client experience and contributes to creating functional, beautiful, and personal spaces.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and educate potential clients about interior design services.
- Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
- Create presentations that communicate design concepts, space plans, and product selections.
- Provide product expertise and elevated client service while supporting Gallery visual and quality standards.
- Represent the brand with polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education in art, architecture, or interior design preferred.
- Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred; interior installation experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, space planning and rendering software, and hand-rendering skills preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift and mobilize items up to 25 pounds.
