Interior Design Assistant

Summary

Design Assistants support key phases of interior design projects in partnership with the interior design team. They help deliver a luxury client experience through design services, product expertise, and polished communication.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and educate potential clients about design services.
• Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
• Create presentations communicating design concepts, space planning, and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service while supporting gallery visual and quality standards.
• Represent the brand with polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Education in art, architecture, or interior design preferred.
• Experience with a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred; interior installation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and preferably AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and artistic skills.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical activities including prolonged standing and bending.
