Interior Design Assistant

Summary

The Interior Design Assistant supports key phases of client design projects in partnership with the interior design team. This role helps deliver a luxury client experience through design services, product expertise, and polished communication.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and educate potential clients about interior design services.
• Support consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery.
• Create presentations that communicate design concepts, space plans, and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service while maintaining gallery visual and quality standards.

Requirements

• Education in art, architecture, or interior design preferred.
• Experience with a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred; hands-on installation experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, relationship-building, and artistic skills.
• Proficiency with Mac and iOS devices, Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and preferably AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and space-planning or rendering programs.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift and mobilize items up to 25 pounds.
