Interior Design Assistant - Thousand Oaks Gallery

Summary

Support RH Interior Design by assisting with all phases of the design process to deliver luxury client experiences. Work collaboratively on consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and deliveries while representing the RH lifestyle with professionalism and refined taste. Maintain high organization, strong communication, and a passion for luxury design and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury experience for clients through RH Interior Design services
• Qualify and educate potential design clientele on services offered
• Support consultations, site visits, presentations and delivery coordination
• Produce brand appropriate presentations, space planning and product selections
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service on the gallery floor
• Support visual and quality standards within the gallery
• Represent the brand through polished communication and appearance
• Assist with installations and mobilizing items during deliveries

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience within a design firm or high end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and space planning programs preferred
• Strong artistic skills including hand rendering and sketching preferred
• Highly organized, collaborative and results oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs and travel locally or out of state
