Interior Design Consultant

Summary

Design Consultants provide a luxury client experience in the RH Gallery by assessing walk-in clientele needs and collaborating with RH Interior Design to deliver tailored solutions. They build and maintain client relationships, qualify and educate clients on RH services, and manage the client experience from initial contact through product delivery. The role requires product expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for luxury design.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated, luxury service to RH clientele through product expertise and consultative selling
• Qualify and educate potential clients on RH Interior Design services
• Own all phases of the client experience from initial contact through product delivery
• Grow and maintain a strong client base and help achieve fiscal goals
• Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery and represent the RH lifestyle brand
• Collaborate with RH Interior Design and internal teams to meet client expectations

Requirements

• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Background in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design and relevant experience preferred
• Strong relationship skills, strategic agility, organization, and results orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Mac OS, iOS, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and maneuver on the Gallery floor; prolonged standing and physical activity required
• Licensed to drive preferred and ability to travel locally or out of state
