Interior Design Consultant

Summary

Design Consultants provide a luxury sales and design experience in the RH Gallery, assessing walk-in clients and collaborating with RH Interior Design to deliver completed projects. They qualify and educate potential clients on design services, manage relationships, and oversee the client journey from initial contact through product delivery. The role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication, and a results-driven approach to grow and maintain a client base.

Responsibilities

• Provide a luxury experience for clientele through product expertise and elevated service
• Qualify and educate potential clients on RH Interior Design services
• Own all phases of the client experience from initial contact through product delivery
• Grow and maintain a strong client base and support achieving fiscal goals
• Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery and represent the brand professionally

Requirements

• Experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Education or experience in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred
• People- and relationship-driven with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, collaborative, strategic, and results-oriented
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and to maneuver around the gallery; prolonged standing and physical activity required
• Licensed to drive preferred and ability to travel locally or out of state
