Summary
Lead and support art acquisitions and artwork programs for primarily retail projects, managing visual presentations, resources, logistics, and budgets while collaborating with senior management and cross functional teams to deliver high quality results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce artwork programs for retail projects working with senior management and local teams.
- Prepare and maintain to scale visual presentations in digital and hard copy formats.
- Maintain shared visual resources and ensure accessibility for multiple teams.
- Facilitate artwork acquisition and production with vendors including printers framers artists and galleries.
- Manage logistical aspects of artwork transport coordinating with internal and external parties.
- Maintain departmental financial accountability update budget trackers and process vendor payments.
- Provide directed research using internal and external image archives and consolidate findings.
- Coordinate with logistics team to create necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Past experience in a visually oriented environment such as art or interior design.
- High level of organization attention to detail and ability to meet challenging deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaborative skills to work with cross functional partners.
- Experience organizing visual imagery in digital archives or databases.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite Photoshop Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint; InDesign a plus.
- Ability to understand architectural drawings and accurately plan projects based on measurements and spatial relationships.
- Artwork handling hanging and framing skills a plus.
- Flexible resourceful attitude toward shifting project direction and timelines.
