Interior Designer - Advanced - Linden House

Summary

Provide residential interior design services to walk-in and in-home clients for the Gallery, creating original designs that reflect the RH design point of view. Lead multiple design projects from initial contact through delivery while building a thriving design business within the Gallery. Serve as a client-facing design leader with refined taste, strong presentation skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to achieving fiscal goals.

Responsibilities

• Create original residential interior designs using floor plans, sketches and visual presentations
• Meet with clients in gallery and in their homes to determine design objectives
• Manage multiple design projects of varying sizes and oversee all phases of the client experience
• Execute and teach daily client interaction standards through the RH design point of view
• Drive design consulting to achieve gallery fiscal and business goals

Requirements

• 5+ years design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Art, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred and professional portfolio required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and space planning/rendering programs; strong graphic and digital presentation skills
• Hands-on installation experience and strong hand rendering/sketching skills preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; licensed to drive and ability to travel preferred
