Interior Designer Advanced

Summary

RH Interior Designer provides high-end residential design services to walk-in clientele within an RH Gallery, creating original interiors through the RH design point of view. This role suits a seasoned designer with leadership qualities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to build a thriving design practice within the Gallery. The designer manages multiple projects, meets clients in-gallery and in-home, and oversees the full client experience from initial contact through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create original residential interior designs using RH’s design point of view and assortment.
• Determine design objectives considering architecture, environment, and client lifestyle.
• Develop floor plans, sketches and visual presentations to communicate design intent.
• Meet with clients in-gallery and in-home and lead multiple design projects of varying size.
• Oversee all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery and installation.
• Drive fiscal goals through design projects and gallery design consulting.

Requirements

• 5+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture/luxury retail preferred.
• Art, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred; professional portfolio required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other space planning/rendering programs; strong digital and graphic presentation skills.
• Hands-on interior installation experience and hand rendering/sketching skills preferred.
• Leadership, business and project management experience preferred; results-driven with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; licensed to drive and ability to travel; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
