Interior Designer - Advanced

Summary

RH Interior Designers provide residential design services to walk-in clients and build a thriving design business within an RH Gallery. They create original designs informed by the RH design point of view and guide clients through the design process from initial contact to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create original residential interior designs based on client objectives, architecture, environment, lifestyle, and the RH assortment.
• Use floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Meet clients in the gallery and in their homes, and lead multiple projects of varying sizes.
• Achieve fiscal goals through design projects and gallery consulting.
• Oversee the client experience through delivery and teach and support daily client interactions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of design experience at a design firm or in high-end furniture or luxury retail preferred.
• Professional portfolio required; a degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a similar field preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related space-planning and rendering programs.
• Strong presentation, artistic, project management, and leadership skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
