Interior Designer - Advanced

Summary

The Interior Designer provides residential design services to walk-in clients in a gallery and builds a thriving design business. The role develops original designs tailored to clients' spaces, architecture, and lifestyles, and oversees projects from initial contact through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create original residential interior designs using the brand's design point of view and product assortment.
• Develop floor plans, sketches, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Meet with clients in the gallery and in their homes, and lead multiple projects of varying sizes.
• Meet fiscal goals and guide the client experience through project delivery.
• Teach and support design standards and client interactions within the gallery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail environment preferred.
• Degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a related field preferred; professional portfolio required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related space-planning and rendering programs.
• Strong presentation, artistic, project management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
