Summary
The Intermediate Interior Designer provides interior design services to walk-in clients in an RH Gallery. The role partners with Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership to create luxury residential spaces and build lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a luxury client experience through RH Interior Design services and execute the RH residential design ethos.
- Provide design expertise on small projects and support larger projects with the Interior Design team.
- Create design presentations that communicate concepts, space plans, and product selections.
- Manage the client experience from consultation through delivery and site visits, and work toward fiscal goals.
- Support Gallery visual and quality standards while representing the RH lifestyle brand professionally.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail; a professional portfolio is required.
- A degree in art, architecture, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and space-planning or rendering programs is preferred; hand rendering and sketching skills are also preferred.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and an entrepreneurial approach to developing an interior design business.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, move throughout the Gallery and related spaces, and travel locally or out of state.
